Data linked in Cheshire and Merseyside

Local and national patient-level data is connected to the NHS Spine, which contains the data of all patients who are registered with a GP in Cheshire and Merseyside.

* Combined Information for Population Health Action (CIPHA) is an intelligence platform that brings together healthcare, social care and administrative datasets to provide near real-time person-level intelligence.
** Graphnet and Arden & GEM commissioning support unit are the two data processors working on behalf of the Cheshire and Merseyside ICB to provide secure storage and access for health data. 
*** Commissioning Data sets are patient level, secondary use datasets that provide information about NHS provided and NHS funded secondary care activity.
